Property Information System
Missoula County’s Property Information System provides a variety of features for citizens
and businesses conducting searches related to property ownership. The property information system
can be searched by applying any of the following criteria:
- Geocode
- Tax ID
- Physical Address
- Legal Description Key Words
- Public Land Survey System (PLSS)
- Point
- Name
There are a variety of GIS layers and base maps to choose from in the “Layers Tab” on the
left side of the
Map window.

Public Records: Search By “Name” and "Advanced" Functions Now Available
Open access to the
Name and
Advanced search functions for public information and records is now available.
Records Search Notice: Results and information generated from searches conducted throughout this system
are for reference only. Reliance should not be placed on the comprehensiveness and accuracy of this information
without first consulting original records in order to verify the accuracy of information displayed on report
pages. If you encounter public records in your search results that are not currently viewable, please try to
view it at a later time. You can also note the book & page numbers of the page you’re seeking and contact our

was unavailable, or what TaxID resulted in an error or problem. This information is used solely to resolve
the issue.
